[2019 Business Concert] Global media award G-Valley Top 3 companies

2019 G-VALLEY Business Concert was held in Seoul Smart City Center on Sep. 26, and at the award, the participating media selected G-Valley Top 3 companies to highlight the show.

At the awards ceremony, three companies including Roits Nine, Witty (Treasure Collection) and Creamo were selected as the G-Valley Top 3 by participating media and received the opportunity to be reported in foreign media as the award. The anticipation for all participating companies and startups of G-Valley to have the opportunity to expand contact with global media is expected to increase in the future.


The security film manufacturer Roits Nine exhibited Sview's POP Master and monitor security film.

POP Master sold by Sview, Korea's brand specializing in film, is a promotional adhesive product with a new concept. In the past, tapes were used to attach the promotional materials, but POP master sticks to the glass without using a separate adhesive, making the exterior look clean. It can be used in shops like restaurants and mobile phone stores where promotional materials need to be attached.

Sview has been working on the development of films for monitors, laptops and mobile phones that can block blue light for the last seven years. Its quality has been recognized in the domestic and overseas market and has been selected as prospective export SME and leading global business with success. The monitor security film uses microlouver technology, which enables viewing from the front, but not from the side that goes over 30 degrees.

Wu Yu-gyeong, an assistant manager of Roits Nine, said, "Sview monitor security film uses blue light blocking technology, protecting the eyes from prolonged use of monitors. Blue light has been found out to be one of the major causes of macular degeneration among the elderly, so we expect that our security film will receive more attention due to it."

Witty (Treasure Collection) displayed its special leather bags from the second brand of PASIETITI, oui, tt Witty.

Witty is a designer brand that interprets charm hidden in nature or objects with wit and breathes in new inspiration to the daily life with the colorful play. As felt in the brand name, Witty contains the meaning of fun wishing that every person leading the hard life to have as much fun as they can. In every bag, the design with the shape of W is contained.

The brand Witty is a collaborative work of CEO Cha Seung-hee of PASIETITI who won three awards from Stevie Awards, one of the widely recognized awards in the business world with the popularity parallel to the Oscars in the film industry, and the influencer Lee Nan-jeong who won the Asian Influencer award in fashion and her story had been published in the New York Times.

Cha said, "We released Witty to make the bags that reveals the character with fresh-looking shape and color. Witty will be recognized as the brand that breaks the popular belief by using different colors and materials."

Ji Su-hyeon, the head of the design department, said, "We have used the inspiration from France which you can feel in the brand, and we want various media partners from around the world. After October when the positive image created by the inspiration from the objects will be launched, we expect to see many customers."


Creamo introduced Smart Interactive Blocks for teaching STEAM and S/W programming with Lego toys. Founded as a researcher of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Creamo combines children's favorite Lego block-based platform with the latest IoT wireless communication technology to provide ADDI block for STEAM education for infants and kindergarten children, and INTERCOD for physical computing education for software education, and the new concept toy RC Car Made by Me.

ADDI block enables the integration of Duplo-sized blocks and various smart interactive blocks with the educational concept of Imagine-Design-Create-Play of children, maximizing their imagination without restriction, and can be used as STEAM education toy.

INTERCODI is a S/W programming education platform that allows children to create their own creative products and program their computers using smart interactive blocks and general Lego blocks. INTERCODI is the world's first Arduino-based wireless communication platform in the familiar Lego block Duplo-type design, which adopts the charging method of individual blocks.

There are examples of software training in various children's education centers children's coding camps, and more institutions are planning to use this product to utilize the software education platform. More and more institution will be using this product and use the software education platform.

The new concept of ICT toys called RC Car Made By Me is a new concept of toy that children can make with their own Lego blocks  and then control them. It is expected to attract great attention from children who are active as it can stimulate both the creativity and control. It will soon conclude a purchase agreement with a big European distributor who loves Lego.

2019 Business Concert held on Sep. 26 is an event to open up a new chapter in the business by the network between the startups and media. A collaborative work among SBA, CCEI and AVING News, this event promoted the Korean startups and G-Valley companies with global media and YouTubers.
